Our Honeymoon - July 2007 Galleries

Day 1 - Embarkation : Our first half-day on board the Carnival Glory, we toured the ship, ran through an emergency drill, and waved goodbye as we left Port Canaveral.

Day 2 - First Fun Day at Sea : The first full day on-board was spent at sea.

Day 3 - Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Tulum Ruins : We docked at Punta Langosta in downtown Cozumel, took a ferry to Playa del Carmen, then a bus to Tulum Ruins, and we did it all on our own!

Day 4 - Belize, Cave Tubing : After getting an early tender into the port, we met up with our tour group and drove about an hour outside of Belize City. We then got an inner tube and hiked for about forty minutes in the beautiful Belizean rainforest. Then we jumped in the refreshing river water and floated back to where we started, passing through amazing natural limestone caves (tunnels). We used disposable, waterproof cameras, and, unfortunately, the pics didn't come out so well.

Day 4 - Belize, Cave Tubing

Day 5 - Costa Maya, Fourth of July Deck Party : The port of Costa Maya was pretty much just a shopping port, so we shopped, then relaxed. That night, we celebrated the Fourth of July on the ship with our cruise buddies.

Day 6 - Second Fun Day at Sea : On our second sea day, Karen and I went to the Emerald Room, the ship's fancy-pants restaurant. We had a great dinner there, then we met up with our cruise buddies for some photo ops.

Day 7 - Nassau : Our last stop was the beautiful and friendly Nassau in the Bahamas. We did a self-guided walking tour with two of our cruise buddies.
